In Appleby we are supported by the Town Band to provide a welcoming learning space for beginner players of all ages. This is a committed group and our beginners have reached aproximately grade 1 level in 9 months.
After a year, players are generally ready to a full brass band. Then we invite a new cohort of players to learn the basics with us. We are very grateful to Appleby Town Council for supporting us with this band.
Note: Experienced volunteers are very mucyh encouraged to come and support new beginners.
