Full bio
Melissa grew up in the brass banding movement in East Anglia before taking a place at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in 2009. Since graduating in 2013 with qualifications in both performing and teaching she has worked a busy and varied career.
She is a freelance performer across the UK and teaches across the Midlands with music services, brass bands, and in her private studio.
She is the host, producer, and administrator of Bold as Brass Podcast which is a music interview platform discussing the wide range of music careers held by brass players all over the world and is enjoyed by students, professionals, and brass enthusiasts worldwide.
