Learning an instrument isn’t just for kids. Our family-friendly beginners’ brass group gives families the chance to start from scratch, learn together and experience the buzz of making music as part of a group. No previous experience? Perfect. Never read a note of music? That’s absolutely fine too.  September could be the month you finally discover what it feels like to make music of your own.

Our family-friendly beginners’ brass group is a chance for children and grown-ups to learn side by side, try something completely new and discover the fun of making music together. You don’t need any experience, you don’t need to read music, and you certainly don’t need to think of yourself as “musical” — just come along, pick up an instrument and have a go.

We're looking for enthusiastic people to join our We're looking for enthusiastic people to join our school BAND! program in the new academic year this September.
Whether you're an experienced player looking to give something back, or you've never taught before, this is a fantastic opportunity to learn on the job.
You'll:
Be paid while you train
Work alongside an experienced brass facilitators
Gain hands-on experience delivering fun, engaging school sessions
Help young people discover the joy of making music
If you love brass banding and would like to develop new skills while making a real difference in local schools, we'd love to hear from you.

We'll have instruments to try, friendly tutors on hand, and plenty of opportunities to make some noise!
